Agree - and not just opinion - that is fact. The modern social media movement/craze is causing lots of social and mental problems - the academics are only now scratching the surface of what will one day be accepted as something that needs to be 'controlled'.  Social media is at its essence a drug that badly affects people socially and mentally. Many years ago people could buy Opioid drugs and it made them feel good - it was even being sold in remedies freely available for things like colds. When it was recognised the social and mental damage that it was doing, then the authorities started to impose 'controls' on their consumption - now they are basically banned.
