After scrapping its Mor Prom app, the government is now rejigging Covid-19 vaccine allocation, amid registration issues and new infection clusters. The much-lauded (by the government) technology was launched on May 1, initially so the elderly and those with 7 underlying conditions could register. Nice, why even have a central government if you will just pass the problem on to local provinces?

I don't how the Thai government (doesn't) function, but if the central government can't take charge in a pandemic, what is it for?

Because, when the going gets tough, the toffs get going. Their government is central geographically, maybe, but, as you suggest, certainly not operationally or directionally.

A mess, for want of a better term.
