The CCSA announced it will allow for alcohol to be sold and consumed in restaurants just in Phuket. The Special Tourist Visa scheme, or STV, was launched last year to draw in travellers from overseas to revive the crippled tourism industry. Thai Airways says it will start selling seats on flights to highly-vaccinated destinations starting October 1

Does this mean interrogation of foreigners documentation at restaurants in Phuket?
STV - you can order beer.
Non O, or permanent resident - no beer.

They will be stamping your passport too.

So when there only one page left, you have to choose: an extension of stay or more beer? 🤔

Ah, a new way to check foreigners for DUI - count the beer stamps on their passport.

Maybe the top half of the bottle is more expensive than the bottom half?

Will someone taking the policy to court be described as an alcoholic, or just a connoisseur of beer?

Funny that every time TT is talking about Thai Airways, they keep forgetting to mention, that thought Thai Airways have been able to save money, they still owes thousands of "former" customers THB 24 billions in refunds.
