Thanks for an entertaining Thaiger Bites. Prostitution has been around in Phuket and Pattaya and so many other places in Thailand (obviously). Illegal, of course, and cloaked in massage and happy endings. The sad reality is that most of the sex workers, are sex workers because their education is only to a junior level (because the government hasn't funded extended education). If Thailand wants to get serious about giving Thai women real opportunities, then education needs to be extended to senior school level and government funded. If these women were given an opportunity for higher education, they could get better jobs, earn more income and not have to fall into prostitution.

As for the COE (Certificate of Entry), I hope it is abolished in place of proof of vaccination. Let's face it, you can't get on a plane unless you are fully vaccinated. You can't get on a plane without a negative PCR test. So scrap the COE. Maybe then you will get better bookings. There will always be forgers, scammers etc. They are in the vast minority. The overwhelming majority are fully vaccinated, with high quality vaccines, so give them preferential treatment.

How much is the CoE?

Could be any price depending where you come from

It's not discriminatory cos it benefits Thailand....🤣

Well, as long as it wasn't free I was going to answer that the chances are it will stay as long as they can milk it... 🤣
