Airline spokesman, Chai Eamsiri, says the carrier also expects to add China to its schedule from next year. He says Thai Airways’ finances have improved following the sale of some assets and offloading investments in the Bangkok Aviation Fuel Services Plc and Nok Air. According […]

They'll return, but empty and only if they can't sell the plane there 🤭

Yes. Well at least some of them.

Another well thought out plan from Thai Airlines the worlds leader in money losing plans.

i am quite happy shorting TAWNF stock for almost a year. Good beer money

Who the hell still flies with Thai Airways? They’re more expensive even if it’s the same plane!

For example a flight from BKK to INC to LAX on Asiana Airlines might be around $900. If you book with Thai Airways it would be $1200. They use the same plane and same time.

In the 80’s you used to fly Thai Airways to country of high infectious diseases and didn’t care. Man how times have changed!

I believe that Thais boarding Thai Airlines flights from these countries are exempt from PCR testing. Will they be changing this. It does occur to me that there is nothing like asking a plane full of vaxxed travellers to be accompanied by a potential health hazard, and when you arrive in TH, being obliged to undergo mandatory quarantine because you are deemed a close contact.

During the meantime, if I do go to TH, I think I will stick to flights where pre-boarding PCR tests are mandated.

They will fly to high vaccinated countries on one hand and then the TAT wants to allow Indonesians in when the vaccinations rate is at 18%? I assume so long as they have the highly effective Sinovac then that's ok 🤪

aren't Thais banned from those countries?

Please @AlexPTY  stop introducing inconvenient little facts such as that. The next thing you will be asking is for them to get their head out of the sand. Or out of somewhere!

Actually, before the fact checking police jump in. People can return to the U.K. for example, but need to hotel quarantine for 10 days at a cost of £2350. Well worth it to get back here. Weather is currently 28 with light winds. Outlook for the coming days is a high of 30 and an overnight low of a mild 18 🙃

😂😂. Spot on remarks. Fly in to Paris and make your way to the coast. Dingy with room for 4 (20 people on board) leaving every 30 minutes! It’s an escorted service courtesy of the French navy. As you enter U.K. waters you will be met by U.K. authorities. Given a £300 life jacket. Free food and drinks. Then you will jump any NHS queues and be given free health checks and any underlying problems sorted. I should however point out, that there is a dual pricing system in place. You either pay nothing, or pay sweet FA. Just remember to ditch your British passport in the channel if you want to avail yourself of this first class service.

Welcome to the U.K. 🙃

The servers will be getting overheated with the number of posts on this topic. I must admit to having a real good laugh at these posts today. Some funny comments and not to be taken too seriously. We all knew what was going to happen and we all know nothing will ever change (1,000 years from now, maybe??).
