A good catch, er call, but not always the case that fish or seafood comes from the ocean. Farmed fish can come from anywhere there's water. River prawns come from er well a river.  

And with modern freezing and shipping I've had frozen fish flown in from Japanese fish markets flung across the globe. 

And sadly the opposite can be true. You can buy food on a beach pier that is shipped from a thousand miles away even though the ocean isn't. 

So it all depends - is it a local fish? How is it sourced? Is it in season? Etc.
