There's only a "1point" plan required to get Thailand back on track......get rid of Prayut Chan-O-Chan and his inadequate cabinet! These guys are light weights on the political stage,  and now the Biden administration is favoring Singapore and Vietnam over Thailand in the Indo-Pacific alliance...speaks volumes on the success of Prayuts governance!

And that's a bad thing?

Nice Thai bashing everybody, almost lives up to the old standard.

The plan looks towards future trends and the increasingly ubiquitous digital economy and aims to get Thailand in line for growing the economy now and in new sectors. The goals would be part of the next national economic and social development plan, the 13th plan set to launch from 2023 to 2027. The current 12th plan was enacted for 2017 to 2022 but the secretary-general of the NESDC warns it will […]

After 7 years of destroying the economy, Prayut and economy doesn't fit and work. All his plans and programs were flops and all investors and international companies quit and run away. Many maybe remember his Thailand 4.o program digital and robots with Bosch, Siemens and other giants a flop after they realized how incompetent and the conditions are. Or the U tapao hub with Airbus, a flop and they quit and so on. He doesn't know anything about economy and is thinking he can order a economy and thats it.

Maybe some also remember his 20 years masterplan like from the handbook of the Ccp politbuero or former Soviet Union. They had this kind of managing the economy with 5 years plans and it never worked. Him and economy really doesn't work it is a disaster and loving stock. Economy is not a Army Barrack where you can order a successfull economy without no knowledge and doing nothing.

You have obviously not seen the HUGE investment in infrastructure of the country.

The road building is immense. Utapao will come into it's own  -  a rare case of improving infrastrucure rather than blindly building everywhere.

And with this increase in roads will there be an increase in road deaths! …. Should they now make plans to educate and eradicate this scourge from the countries landscape first!

You are surly were not involved in this programs like many companies did! And u tapao was quit by them. No knowledge but think you kniw something. By the way building highways with loans and debt doesn't mean succesfull economy. There was never a government what made so much debts! If you want to talk about economy learn first it is by numbers and facts and learn what is economy! There are datas and charters who shows how it went down for 7 years!

I do disagree , many of the roads have been widened from two lane roads with cars passing each other going in different directions and widened to four lane roads with a divider between the directions , which will mean less accidents because drivers cannot overtake on the wrong side of the road  and so less head on collisions

So they can drive faster …. Lose control and smash into other vehicles? It’s not the condition of the roads in Thailand, it’s the condition of the drivers or cyclists.

No, so they can drive and not have to overtake other cars on the wrong side of the road .

Wider roads will cause less accidents
