Everybody I know in China who wants one has a VPN. Alright thats a pee in a pond but I've no reason to think its not common.

Yeah....bit of a myth that Chinese authorities to block, censor or restrict any type of VPN and related services. 

Easily guess that half of the internet using population in China are on to this in one form or another.
