Police have seized a variety of assets valued at nearly 59 million baht. The police believe the assets were obtained via the drug trade. Police say they used information from previously arrested suspects and with the aid of court warrants to raid 4 spots in central Thailand’s Nakhon Pathom province. The assets include cars, bank accounts, and land title deeds valued at 15 million baht. Now if they start seizing Joe Ferraris assets and assets of all the corrupt officials in Thailand they will have all their money problems solved. Bet it would get more than Tourism in a good year.

BUT …. A massive problem on the recruiting front … as who would want a job as a police officer with no chance of making good money through lying, cheating and corruption?

But that requires the ability to tell better lies and bull crap more! Also job security is fickle, as in the police force, if you stuff up you get transferred to another position… moved sideways and upwards whilst under investigation!

Well if they nit happy with the salary they can always go to work in a restaurant for less... it is only greed what make them corrupt

But that could be like Thai no like working in the jobs that they import the workers from Burma to do on a cheap wage.

That is everywhere in the world,  Australia  land workers, Netherlands same, Japan factories.. all foreigners do that work.. I think in this time they must be happy to have a job
