I don´t see what´s the surprise if porno is illegal, it is illegal! I have readied multiple stories over the years of foreigners and pornographers that were arrested not only there but also in other asian countries. Even japan that has a porno industry doesn´t allow international pornographers and the local stuff is all censored too.

 

Last year a black american and a hungarian woman were arrested at a hotel because they were doing basically the same thing and they had lights, cameras and all the rest.

 

If they didn´t these porno producers would be flocking there and turning the place into a porn producing spot damaging the country reputation even more. 

 

Back in the middle 2000´s in the Philippines there was a guy known as Jimmy Regina that became relatively famous for creating a site called the trikepatrol were he posted videos of him with local girls.

 

Even though the site was and still is blocked in asia the police there went into a hunt even hiring some girls in bars to lure him into some hotel so he could be arrested on the act. Needless to say that he escaped and has been on the watch list there ever since.

 

Another case was 10 years ago when a guy called Anthony Andrew Poer, that did basically the same thing on a site called thaigirlswild, was arrested in Pattaya and the story was all over the forums.

 

The conclusion is that if they planned to do this they should have been as low profile as possible but from what i see they even posted videos on YouTube bragging so they shouldn´t be surprised.
