Fans of posting videos and pictures of themselves naked or having intercourse be wary: The Thai government is warning people who post content on OnlyFans that if they reside in Thailand and release content that could be deemed “obscene” or pornography by Thai law, they could face harsh fines and maybe even spend years in jail if they are found guilty of creating and releasing such content. I am pleased to see that they have felt the need to point this out as clearly in the face of a rapidly failing economy this matter should be treated with the highest level of importance.

WOW … a big issue for the Bar Girls. Just when they thought they could make money without the Bars ….. wonder if a member of the current government or high ranking police member owns a bar and worries about staffing it!

Or this ….

You’re probably familiar with apps like Photo Lab. You hop in, upload a selfie, then wait a few seconds only to find yourself marveling at what you’d look like in a comic book or an ancient painting.

Now picture a similar app but instead of a cute portrait, you get a porn clip with you as one of the actors. The tagline? “Turn anyone into a porn star with one click!”

Just imagine the PM or Health Minister in a Porno!

obscenity? The website allows it who is Thailand to tell you can post there, it is not their property at all, trying to go further and further to control EVERYTHING... right... eh... wrong thailand, it dies not harm thailand in anyway or anything so stop making problems to people about what they want to do on website where it is allowed

I bet that I could destroy OnlyFans with one nude pic of myself; no law is needed.

No! No! Make it go away! My Eyes! My Eyes!

Ugh! It's Horrible! Make the Naked Fat Man Go Away!

I'll Pay you Millions to Take it Down!

I am Sorry! I'll never misbehave again!

No! No! Make it go away! My Eyes! My Eyes!

My Eyes!!!

I wonder how much OnlyFans would pay me to stay away... Or the Thai Government to post.

The statement "creating pornographic material is illegal as it is considered obscenity" seriously offended me, since circular logic is considered obscene.

That doesn't make the statement itself illegal though, simply because of the fact that it's not written down in law (perhaps it should be, just kidding ;-).

Plainly the creation is illegal merely because of section 287 (which *is* written down), which BTW states as penalties:

[,,] ,ต้องระวางโทษจำคุกไม่เกินสามปี หรือปรับไม่เกินหกพันบาท หรือทั้งจำทั้งปรับ

I.e., 3 years and/or 6,000 baht (i.e. not 60,000 baht).

Apart from that correction: selling kratom was recently upgraded from being a criminal act into being part of a commendable entrepreneurship. Hopefully, it doesn't take 20+ years to do the same here.
