A Khon Kaen woman found a creative way to get the necessary attention from government officials to finally repair the terrible potholes on his road. Anyone who has driven around Thailand enough has encountered a road so rough and full of potholes that it resembles the surface of the moon. And if anyone wants to fake another moon landing, Khon Kaen has just the location for you. But Aomam Chaluayjit Wansueb had enough of it in her neighborhood and decided to dress as an astronaut on the moon and bound around the lunar road scape in videos that went viral […]

This is a great way of trying to get attention to solve problems. Let this be an example for everyone. Even though there are problems, get attention and have a bit fun doing it, instead of the 2021 approach of crying screaming and attacking people. 👏👏👏

What is seriously annoying about this issue, is that there are literally millions of 'public servants' in Thailand still getting paid, while the majority of Thais are out of work and seriously struggling.  There are about 2 million public servants - mainly at the Provincial levels, and another almost 1 million Defence personnel. All of them have been paid since the lockdowns occurred - but most of them are not doing their work - saying 'Covid' is what is stopping them.  I guarantee you that if all public servants had been stood down in 2020 without pay (excluding medical staff) until the Covid problem was resolved, including the politicians and senior public service management people, the issue would have been resolved a long time ago. The same goes for all other countries in the world.  There will be some good that comes out of this Covid crisis, but one of them I really hope does happen is that we all start to realise that the majority of public servants actually do very little work, but they always get paid - it is time to address that waste of money.  In my opinion you could sack 50% of the public servants (medical services excluded) and there would not be a lot of difference in real outcomes to the average people. But thousands of $billions would be saved.

This is also a great way, to get In trouble by this "publicy shaming others" law. Even more, if that is "a thai is pointing a finger on officials", like it is here.

The road may be "repaired" soon, just what kind of attention this woman gets, after that, can become a follow up story.
