Opposition vows to oppose budget, calls on coalition members to do likewise

Thailand’s main opposition party says it will oppose the national budget when it enters parliament on May 31. The Pheu Thai party is also calling on members of the ruling coalition to do the same. Sad to say that Yutthapong must be dreaming, if he imagines that the PTP anti-budget votes will make any significant difference to Parliament's May 31 outcome. He knows that the coalition, en masse, daren't vote against it, no matter how much they may inwardly disapprove . . . their well-paid jobs depend upon their kowtowing to what those clowns who hold the purse strings have budgeted for . . . and there's no way that they'd consider putting those on the line, even though it is their country's future financial security that's at stake.
