Because it’s not Thai. Applications and data 1’s & 0’s work and flow differently in Thailand. Thailand is unique and anything from outside Thailand must be rejected and viewed with scepticism. I’m being facetious of course!  
 

I guess there could be a security concern by using other sources of code? Lots of ways around that, but it’s possibly one reason why they are using their own brand. I suspect the reasoning is possibly more closer to my first comments. The other thing to think about when asking the question, is to look where the money is and follow that. It often gets to the real answer….

I had my own
