Skilled Clothing Modifications

There are plenty or people with sewing machines around in Bangkok and Pattaya.

However, they always seem to turn their nose up at anything that requires any skill or technique.   

Add a zip to a pocket ?    Too difficult

Re-line a pocket replacing shoddy mesh fabric that has holes with something durable ?     No all I get is them stitching up the one hole.

Add a pocket ?    Too difficult.

So they more or less end up just taking on the kind of repair or modification I could do myself and I'm a male with no sewing skills, but I can watch you tube and repeat the same process myself.

So can anyone recommend someone who can take on proper clothing modifications in Bangkok or Pattaya ?   

Please don't tell me there are plenty of people with sewing machines, as most of them seem only capable of the most basic work.
