180 coronavirus-related deaths and 14,029 new Covid-19 cases were reported today by the Centre for Covid-19 Situation Administration. In the past 24-hours since the last count, the CCSA has recorded 15,742 recoveries. There are now 135,966 people in Thailand currently receiving treatment for the coronavirus. In the latest and most severe wave of Covid-19, first recorded on April 1, the CCSA has reported 1,353,310 confirmed Covid-19 infections. How about daily reporting the number of illegal parties, along with covid cases?

Hi, I regularly looks for update on covid and Thaiger provide great insights. Would be great if could include the update on Hospital beds and ICU’s availability in each provinces . That helps to get complete picture of the scenario across Thailand .

Attached are two graphs showing the daily cases and daily deaths reported in Thailand. These are plotted on a logrithmic  scale which allows you to see rate of growth rather than actual numbers. Two things stand out about these graphs. 
 

1. Between May and Mid June, the rate of growth of Covid cases and deaths had essentially flattened off. That’s to say that the daily figures were more or less the same from one day to the next. 
 

2. Beyond that date the rates started to pick up again until the last week or two, where once again, both graphs have flattend off. 
 

We know the current outbreak started in April, but why did it suddenly take off again and get worse from around mid June having flattened off? What happened in the country to cause this? It wasn’t the effect of Songkran as this is in mid April. What other events or things happened around this time? 
 

With the two curves now flat again, it’s important to avoid whatever happened in early to mid June from happening again. 
 

Any ideas anyone?
