I should be offended at the concept that domestic tourist'sfear the presence of foreign tourists. The figures dont lie, foreign tourists don't pose any risk as they are fully vaccinated and have been subject to numerous tests to establish they are clear of Covid. The reverse is factual as the Puket Sandbox scheme has proven,, thai nationals spread Covid when they gather in numbers now, Keep foreigners out for their own safety as Covid will increase when only thai visitors attend..

It's the Thai domestic issue that has effected the ranking and will definitely slow the foreign inbound market. It's already happening.

Look at the facts get a reality check : International vaccinated tested tourists know they are unwelcome so do not come  despite   now being highly unlikely to be spreaders of the current Indian Pakistan variant nor are those unvaccinated recovered ! However i think vaccination does not fully cover you just significantly reduces reinfection .It only prevents death ! Its your own domestic less well off and or irresponsible  people now spreading it .. Then passing it onto even a few of the safe insignificant no of left overseas tourists . If you stay safe with sensible precautions spacing cleanliness use of known effective drugs life tourism can return . This old reader wants to return when its safe to do so for food entertainment ,now lacking .I want to a spend money on your economy for medical dental health grounds . I caught ironically a flu virus over ten years ago and retired on medication .
