News Forum - Certainties of life: Death, taxes, and ladyboys robbing Indian men of gold in Pattaya
How is it an alternative viewpoint? It was a tired tale of ladyboys and Indians. the story has been done many times. It is not as if Indians are not robbed elsewhere in Thailand or that ladyboys are not present in other cities. All that Mr. Scott did was recycle an old article, bundling it with hateful stereotypes and his biased commentary. Mr. Scott leaves the impression that only Indians are the victims of ladyboys, and that Pattaya has an overpopulation of ladyboys who seem to all be criminals. He obviously hasn't seen what goes on in Samui or Chiang Mai or Patong, let alone Bangkok. Maybe we should mount a Go Fund Me campaign to raise money to send Mr. Scott to a journalism school. -

Written like a good Russian, from the land of the pogroms. Russian state sanctioned pogroms didn't just target Jews, but they went after Polish Catholics and Lithuanians too. The culmination of Russian hatred occurred with Russia's alliance with nazi Germany and invasion of Poland and subsequent slaughter of Poles. Continental Europe and the Middle east's ignorance profited English speaking democracies which welcomed the people you seem to loathe. There were significant advances in science and technology once they moved to countries which offered freedom. Freedom is a concept that still eludes Russia. -

The world just got a little safer... HENRY KISSINGER is dead... RIP Ghoul...
No, it is not self evident. You seek absolutes without context as you try to build a basis to justify your extremism. Sanctity of life is a construct of a number of religions. I deal with such issues on a case by case basis and rely on the facts and circumstances of the case to influence my position. I do not kill people who disagree with me because it would be a waste of energy and a poor use of my time. I would spend all day killing such that I would not have time for the pursuits that interest me. Everyday, people put themselves at risk in the service of others. It might be the EMT responding to a psychotic wielding a knife, it might be a fireman rescuing a child from a structure fire, or it might be a copper rushing in to a mass shooting. As to whether or not I would sacrifice myself for others, I already have. In hindsight I would not do it again. I do not need a simplistic lesson in morality from you. Nor are you one to regurgitate the simplistic comments on fanatacism when you embrace fanatical claims of unsubstantiated conspiracies promoting nonsense like President Bident being bribed by China.- 1

Dear me! Got caught out with the EPL. I was thinking the matches were today, and missed the two last night. What a game at Luton. Was gonner be yet another 3-3 when Ricey sorted out a great header to send Hatter's fans home sick as;; well hats! The other match was pretty even looking at the stats. So to tonight;;; 3-1 - Seagulls - Bees 1-1 - Palace - Cherries 2-0 - Cottagers - Forest 2-2 - Blades - Pool 2-2 - Villa - City 1-2 - United - Blues Some shock results there if I'm right. Never been wrong on footy forecasting. We will see. Have the Blades sacked their manager yet? Heard a rumour.
