Same old predictable stuff, most of it so so in interest like the Grand Palace, which in truth is nowhere near as grand as the one in Phom Phen, food no thanks and I don't pay the rip off prices to get into their national parks.

The one thing never mentioned is the music, the most fun I have ever had here and more rewarding than a night out in Bangkok, followed by street food, getting drunk and a tuk tuk ride home with a tarty piece.. Many concerts are free, wat fairs is another one I would list which usually have a concert. Luktung, morlam, likay, kantrum, lukrung, lare, phua chee wit, nora, string, a long list of styles and stars to see close up at all sorts of events all over the country. Thais are at least brilliant at organizing concerts and parties, but they never seen to take tourists, the poor buggers get stuck with classical dance, khon, or maybe a band playing Hotel you know what. 🙄

Hello,
Thailand offers a vibrant tapestry of experiences for travelers. Begin in Bangkok with visits to the Grand Palace and Wat Arun before exploring the city's bustling markets and diverse street food scene. Head north to Chiang Mai for its lively night markets and opportunities to visit ethical elephant sanctuaries. Learn the art of Thai cooking or relax with a traditional massage. Island-hop from the popular Phuket and Koh Phi Phi to the serene Koh Lanta, perfect for snorkeling and diving. Immerse yourself in history at Ayutthaya's ancient temples and Sukhothai's UNESCO World Heritage site. Don't miss cultural encounters with hill tribes or the thrill of Muay Thai boxing matches. Thailand promises unforgettable adventures blending rich traditions with natural beauty and vibrant city life.
