I've searched for the definition of "recoveries",  but unsuccessfully. But today I finally got it: daily covid cases x 1.2=daily recoveries.

Merck already carries stage 3 trial of Molnupiravir, which should be enough

And will Thailand place orders after everyone else for 2030? Or wait for Chinupiravir?

No, Thailand will wait for China to make a new and improved SINOVAC vaccine and get a huge purchase discount which will be bonuses distributed to the government officials.

From those 228 deaths about only 10-15 were under 50 years old (most likely also very ill anyway from other diseases) and 40-50 deaths in the category 50-64, using US data as basis. Protect the elderly and otherwise vulnerable and that should be it. No lockdowns or shutdowns.

I’m sure they will count the deaths as recoveries. After all, they don’t have Covid anymore if they have died. So seems perfect logic in the LOS!
