"The officials say there will be exceptions for public health professionals who work in Phuket, and patients who need medical treatment on the island. The Nation Thailand says that patients must show evidence of a doctor’s appointment and the patient must have been vaccinated with the required doses for at least 14 days, or the patient must have recovered from Covid within 90 days"

Expect all of these measures to fade away in a month or two as the Thai govt is finally starting to come to its senses and accept the ineveitable which is a highly contagious virus that does not warrant destroying your economy.

And should not Phuket be categorised as a Red Zone or even Dark Red Zone with the Covid case numbers that are occurring on a daily basis. When this occurs then other areas will project the same measures on Phuket people.

We are going there for 30 days.....We travel around randomly, so i dont know where we will be in Thailand in day 22 of our stay.....so to have proof of all hotels paid in advance.....kinda sucks for spontaneous travelling...even if we just stay in Phuket and the islands....

Also, will we have to get tested a few times each at 100us each time?....thats like another 520cdn

Hope some of these policies change for jan.2022...

We are both double vaccinated...phizer
