News Forum - Mu variant as a Covid-19 “variant of interest” by WHO

Recommended Posts

By now, news of the Delta variant, a much more contagious strain of Covid-19 that has spread around the world, is constant and exhausting. Now, Mu, a strain that may be resistant to vaccines, is making headlines as a new “variant of interest” according to the World Health Organisation. The Mu variant was first identified in Colombia 8 months ago in January is a mutation of Covid-19 that is troublesome as this strain may have developed a resistance to some vaccines. Though it has been known since January, just yesterday the WHO officially classified it as a variant of interest […]

i love all this "Doom Porn"!

The microbiology in this article is not quite correct. Viruses in general have no need to mutate or diverge quickly unless human immune response triggers it. In the case of covid, human immune response is being accelerated and viral stress intensified by mass vaccinations, which creates AVE, Accelerated Viral Evolution, that spawns the more rapid emergence of new variants. We should not therefore be surprised about this development, but instead ask more questions about the "science" that is promoting all the experimental vaccines and potentislly creating even more infectious variants!

What vaccines? 8 months ago Colombia was a disaster area, vaccination wise.

They didn't receive their first Covax shots until March 2021.  So how did the variant "mutate" to become vaccine resistant?

Here it comes. And these are the mutations that are publicized. Who knows how many nasty hybrid strains that circulating already among the populations.

This COVID is quite clever in it's rapid transformations.

If I'm mistaken, the identified MU [Colombia origins] is likely the same mutated strain being referred to as B.1.621 - more contagious and deadly than Delta] - which was quietly identified in parts of the U.S. and U.K. some three months [???]

Nature's twisted mysteries.

These viruses are not bound, nor adhere to, by our invented scientific logic.

This forum have any Columbia member?

They will tell to us that “The Columbia strain not come from Columbia sure. It only found in Columbia because we have great testing. It come from another country sure. And come to Columbia because of illegal foreigner, Columbia people not bring it. Be impossible”

Not correct, a transcription error (or mutation) can occur anytime as a virus multiplies. If the new version is viable then you have an altered virus. It can be more infectious or less. In most cases the virus is no longer viable luckily for its host.

Transcription is the where DNA or RNA is created from the original nucleic acid.

Get your facts straight.

Nothing to do with being "clever" just an error in a process that naturally occurs during reproduction.

For those who have no idea what a mutation is:

the changing of the structure of a gene, resulting in a variant form that may be transmitted to subsequent generations, caused by the alteration of single base units in DNA, or the deletion, insertion, or rearrangement of larger sections of genes or chromosomes.

It usually occurs during DNA or RNA transcription, resulting in "cell death or loss of viability", no change in viability, malignant or non-malignant tumours in the host, organisms with features that make survival more likely, and a host of other traits.

In other words, the more viral particles created world wide the more likely a variant will arise that avoids the vaccines that are in use. And if that variant is as infectious as the Delta variant and attains the lethal levels of a virus such as Ebola or Marburg then god help us all. That is why it is imperative that more people get vaccinated to reduce the total viral load worldwide.

Might I suggest something?

You're not going to find a new variant in your kitchen with a chemistry set.

You're also not personally going to find out whether it's vaccine resistant or not

No need to worry about a next complication before it's fact.

Researchers do that for us.

We know what we have now.

And for now we know how to protect ourselves as best we can.

I am speechless. Is it possible that people here are waking up to the absurdity of this overhyped threat and the wisdom behind the experimental biochemical drugs we are being coerced into being injected with ? Better late then never I presume. In each case refreshing to see that the witnesses of corona are starting to loose some of their flock.

As has been stated and verified before by plenty of posters from valid research, the current variants were all discovered before the vaccines were distributed.

If you are correct we shall see it.

But since the start of the vaccinations 5.33 billion (!!!) jabs have now been given and variants are not popping up all over the place.

I know the argument... It's too early and it will happen. Same as how we were all going to die from the vaccines after a year, but when the year is up and no large number have died, the goal posts shift to 2 years. Same as the predictions of the end of the world for which the date is always conveniently pushed back...

FYI:

If your sceptical, you can check literature on mutations in other viruses as a result from vaccines. It may put your mind at ease.

I sincerely hope you’re right about all of that, really. No irony or BS.

But the reality is this: nobody’s gonna die within 2 years of taking a vaccine. But immunity will wane, 3rd, 4th, 5th booster shots will be needed. Variants will come (pop up) and that’s how it is.

The folks with acquired immunity will always be better off. Period. It’s all a calculated risk: vaccine booster dependency with doubtful long-term protection vs. acquired immunity.
That’s the choice folks are making. Each to their own.

Judging by a few restaurants I drove by tonight that were packed I think the Thai's are done with covid lockdown theater and ready to get back to living...not "life" in covid death camp where you don't live as you do nothing but fear death. Mai ow to that shit.

Now you just need to get the CCC clan to see the light with evidence 😉

Oh Bob20, I thought we were a club, then a squad, now we’re a clan.

I kind of like “clan”. But then we’d be the CCCC. I prefer CCC…
