He's probably in Soi 6,7 or 8 Pattaya playing water fights with the rest of the lowlife backpacker community.

Lets hope so.  It looks like he was travelling overseas alone - never a good idea.

Why not a good idea? I have been visiting Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam Laos etc for about 30 years alone and can think of no good reason not to.

Your life - Your call.  But the truth is that every year single travellers come unstuck and even get killed - that is highly unlikely if you are travelling with a mate. Perhaps you are super smart or just lucky - either way if something goes wrong, you are literally on your own. 

He has been found on Krabi is a sh**hole backpacker residence. He apparently has issues with his family, but not contacting them for about a month is unacceptable.  Lowlifes with issues and likely to have been having a good time with drugs and girls - sums up too many of the post-Covid Thailand tourists.

Good job we don't get those two mixed up when we deal with the ladies.  Although, come to think of it, both often happen.
