Personally, I think it's a silly  pipe dream.  The Thais will pay many  millions of USD to set it up and many more millions of USD to the promoters. If indeed it does happen, like India, Turkey and Korea before it, it will be a flash in the pan. To try to compare it to hosting a MOTO GP event is ridiculous.
