It's happening all over Thailand... it's amazing how this has literally blown up in just the last 10 years or so. Beyond the western fast food, I would say the number one culprit are all of these high sugar drink stands seemingly in every street corner and mall.

Indeed, sugar is the invisible enemy hiding everywhere. It's even in those so-called "healthy" coffee/tea/collagen drinks Thai women are so fond of.
