Beyond the undeniable stupidity of base jumping, what's interesting is that he had previously successfully done 500 jumps and he messed this one up by himself. The equipment wasn't faulty, he just didn't equip it properly and didn't check it before jumping. Can someone tell me what is the root cause of all of these attacks? Maybe someone has a good link to a source explaining the conflict down there? Thanks. Edit: Read the Wikipedia page on this... seems to me the approach to demanding the implementation of Muslim law, language, cultural rights etc. isn't going so well? -

It's happening all over Thailand... it's amazing how this has literally blown up in just the last 10 years or so. Beyond the western fast food, I would say the number one culprit are all of these high sugar drink stands seemingly in every street corner and mall.- 1
