Nothing surprising....it is a daily affair in major cities everywhere in Thailand....Even Thais and many foreigners end up the same way...just pack-him up, clean the mess and carry on. There will be another incident tomorrow. Once people are in Thailand, the follow Thai style and end up like Thai ending.

The Kawasaki Z1000 is a beast of a bike and not to be placed in just anybody's hands.

There is no mention if he was drinking or wearing a helmet, but it does seem likely he was one of those farangs who lose their basic common sense when in Thailand.

Darwin Award nomination.  In fact, if they ever came to Thailand for nominations, the Thai would dominate the winners across all categories.  Just the other day I was on one of the many dual-lane highways doing about 100Ks when a boy on a bike went flying past on the inside doing at least 140Ks and proceeded to weave in and out of the moving cars. Yes - he had no helmet no gloves no boots no jacket - I expected to come across his wrecked bike and body at any minute - but that day was not the day.  One of the main reasons why there are so many lovely Thai girls available for Expats - the boys kill/damage themselves a lot with very risky behaviours - bikes and drugs mainly. The other one is the high level of 'gayness'.  No real complaints from me that is for sure - in the west the vast majority of 'available' girls are ugly and nothing but future financial and social troubles, and it is best and wise to avoid them (rent only).
