Am I allowed to post the actual video on here?

If it is not in the public domain, eg on Thai news site as opposed to FB or LINE, then NO, not a good idea.

If it is genuinely in the Thailand public domain then it may be ok under 'spoiler' protection (see navbar)

Sister in law took the Police entrance exam in Bkk in 2009, they were told the pass mark was 400k baht, she failed!

Makes you wonder, doesn't it?  Why do people pay 400-500K to get a job that only pays about 200K a year to begin with and 300K after 2-3 years?  I mean - is there some other way they make more money??  Just asking for that friend again.

Then add in the brown elephant money needed for a rank increase, and yes of course there are way to many backhanders and earners here and there for them.  Checkpoints where a driver just hands over 500 baht and drives off instead of paying a 2k fine and gets a ticket used to be the norm up in Udon Thani on the Mitrapap Hwy.  Then the no hemet 500 baht handovers in Phuket back in the day when I lived there.

Two 5 min videos shared on fb. Its not just "a bag", its 5 or 6 bags together with physical restraint and force. Sickening. It really looked like they trying to kill him in a slow way. The useless reanimation at they end was confusing considering what was happening for 10 long minutes...  6 or more police guys doing nothing to stop it too. A doctor involved too by faking cause of death. The police guy apparently also had a small collection of luxery cars (Lamborgini etc). Wtf. Sickening RTP.

From another news scource;

"

Pol Col Thitisan, alias Jo Ferrari, was a student at the Royal Police Cadet Academy (class 57).

His alias came from the fact that he owned many sports cars, including a Lamborghini limited-edition Aventador LP 720-4 50 Anniversary special. He was reportedly the first Thai to own this car.

Regarded as one of the best drug suppression officers,"

Highly likely that the actual intention was to kill him, they were trying to scare him into paying 1 million Baht to avoid charges

It barely matters. These guys are above the law. Any and all laws. The only time they are arrested is when it becomes big news, or it is reported internationally, and Thailand gets a ton of egg on it's face. And even then, it normally does not result in a conviction. Very, very few current (not former) police, immigration, customs, cabinet officials, army officials, or administration officials are arrested here, tried, convicted and imprisoned.

My guess is it is one of the lowest rates in the world. The corruption here is never ending.

And to think that tiny P. came into office with the agenda of cleaning the place up. LOL. About as amusing, and about as sincere as Trump draining the swamp. Nothing ever got cleaned up. If anything, things are filthier under the army, then they were before.

Everyone in that room should be arrested as there all guilty to the offence. What kind of senior Police officers move a suspect to another post. It just shows how bad they are and poorly they are managed. Like most cases in Thailand they will quickly suppress it and soon it will be forgotten, or to keep them from any court they will use one to pin the blame on and make it look like they did a good investigation, then all in that room will be free to carry on. Off course no more photo's of the perps will be published and laughable statements will be released.

There really needs to be a complete investigation in regards to ALL previous deaths in Police custody where the prisoner died of a drugs overdose .

Quite possibly that this isnt the first time that its happened

Transferred???   WTF ???  in any respectable country he would be in custody until his hearing, no Judge would grant bail on this evidence

It seems like he has been arrested and "transferred " just means he's been relieved of all duties at the Police station , a formailty so he doesnt go to the same police station again
