"Three individuals, including a Thai MP, have indicated recent government discussions about deporting Uyghurs to China, although no official directive has been issued. Two sources suggest that the timing coincides with the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Thailand and China."

Thailand will I suspect do what their Chinese overlords tell them and to hell with human rights!

Keep the Uyghurs and deport the ethnic Chinese and the Russians.  That's a much better idea.

What heinous crime did they commit? Or is the 10 years for illegal immigration? If so, give them a Thai passport for goodness sakes.
