The suspect, identified as David, a 36 year old Thai-English national, was apprehended at the scene. He sustained facial bruises and bodily abrasions, appeared heavily intoxicated, and showed no remorse, even making an ‘I love you’ gesture to the police. ...as the picture in the article shows clearly. I hope he'll enjoy the hangover of a lifetime when he wakes up in his cell. Not sure he will be so smart and "loving" then.

Hopefully he spends a good long time in a Thai Jail before seeing the light of day again and is NOT sent to the UK for serving his sentence! RIP the Japanese fella a tough lesson to learn do not interfere in domestic disputes especially in Thailand where every nutter carries either a knife or a gun as the penalties for carrying either even when they are enforced are desultory
