"The incident, which occurred today, December 29, has raised serious concerns about safety regulations" What safety regulations, it seems to me the regulations are there but NO ONE is enforcing them. Thai ferries and tourist boat accidents and disasters are far from uncommon and have been for years yet NOTHING is done to effectively regulate them.
