I'm only interested in Isaan, so here is Snaps weekly forecast.

Chilly in the mornings, unless huddled around one of the dozen or so fires in every village.

No rain until Xmas morning, when it could rain if there is some cloud about. But not likely. Temperatures range from freezing-yer-nuts off to just plain cold. But! It depends on the sun, the wind and general air stability. It will seem much warmer if one is is direct line with the sun; and out of any breeze.

Wave height in the Mekong River; pretty low; under 20mm.

Every day after the 21st will be 3 minutes longer. No sweating-like-a-pig until March 1st.
