An audit of any hospital bill would make most people ill... there are charges upon charges for anything and everything... used or not used... it has become the go to scam to maximize profits... just an outpatient follow-up visit bill at Bangkok Hospital tacks on 300 baht for service charges and other medical service charges when all I did was spend 5 minutes talking to the doctor for 750 baht... it's the tried and true scheme that people will accept a number of small charges instead of just one big charge even though the total is the same... it adds value... 555
