No soap at road services.

With all the money been spent to prevent covid spreading, surely we need to do the basics. Motorway service stations having no soap (and obviously not for a long time either as totally dried out). I love Thai's and Thailand but really isn't good enough. It's a massive potential transmission point. Who is in charge of this kind of stuff?! They can be bothered to put posters up to spread people out at urinals but no actual soap?!

I was in several a few weeks ago on the way up to BKK from Phuket, the ones we stopped at all had liquid soap in, and were pretty clean.

 

I guess its going to vary depending on route.

That's a PTT station, and that's up to PTT.

These days, aren't you carrying alcohol-based hand gel for sanitizing?  Better than using some public soap dispenser that 55 Covid victims before you used.

Glad to hear it's an exception, rather than the norm. We stopped PTT from Phuket to Chumpon.

Yes we use our own alcohol. But many didn't wash hands as no soap. Just thought it's the absolute minimum during a pandemic.

Leaf petrol north of Chumpon = no soap

Shell north of Chumpon = Soap

PTT Cha-am = little soap. 

Glad to see some are putting soap in but it's by no means everywhere.
