How to ruin your own business? This is literally the only reason I know the website. If it wasn't for this, no one would've known this site.

Yeah, but now it'll be easier to find the people with the sourdough baking channel.

It really does not change much from what I gather from content creators on OF. Basically the new app in October bans NSFW content. But "verified" content creators can still proceed as normal. The content would just need to be viewed outside of the app, like via the website on any browser. Essentially all it is doing is stopping people who do not go through their verification process of getting paid for content where the source is unknown. Actually sounds like a good thing for all parties involved IMO.

In public forums like social media, OnlyFans responded to complaints with the info you stated. Unfortunately the emails they sent directly to creators told a very different story.

Yes, I saw later that they had provided conflicting statements. Thank you for uploading that additional information.

Basically the payment processors said no more, or no more payment processing.

They have them by the balls.  Tie that in with them going public, and you have the end result - a neutered site which is going to crash and burn.

Onlyfans, which has established a user base of over 130 million people because of its adult-oriented subscription fan pages, is prohibiting the one thing that most people come to the site for : pornography. As of October 1, the U.K.-based video subscription service will no longer allow “sexually explicit” content. Onlyfans stated that the decision was made in order to meet the demands of its banking and payment providers. read more
