I wonder when/if there will ever be a Government in Thailand that addresses all the road and construction collapses in this country. 20 years ago in Singapore a major road (Nicolls) collapsed and the detailed investigations lead to the implementation of new construction rules that were strongly policed. No more local corrupt public servants taking cuts with companies using low grade materials and using cheap construction workers and methods.  In that recent collapse in Bangkok - almost all of the workers were Myanmar - no training no qualifications no supervision. Maybe if someone very important (obviously ordinary people are not) is killed by a road/construction collapse, then the matter might finally get addressed, like they did in Singapore.
