Income requirement for legal marriage in Thailand
As an addition to me answers - have you considered using an Agent? Doing the Official Marriage all yourself can be problematic - I did it all myself and my advice is to not do that. Hire an Agent and they will organise everything for you - including the 'meeting' at the Provincial Office where you and the Thai wife get the paperwork finalised and then receive your Certificate. PM me if you want a recommendation for someone in Bangkok who is married to a senior Thai Policeman. We used her some years ago when we needed a Police Clearance for the Wife - she also does Marriages (wish I knew that back then) and Visas etc. As for the actual Annual Visa (Permission to Stay) she can also organise and do that too. However, after the first one, I now do the annual 'extensions' myself. -

It is OK to put 'student' and 0 as income. Do you have a 'student' Visa? -
