Here is the answer to a flourshing Thai casino... Any Thai above the age of 21 with proof of a Thai savings account of 500000 Tb after the withdrawal of 100000 Tb may enter the casino. He must exit the casino when he 100,000th in losses or any amout of winnings greater than 1 Bt or more. He is then restricted from reentering again with 100000 and bank accouht500000 for 1 month (or two or three) This would bring in a large middle class with adequate gambling controls. Yes Indeed. A 5000 Baht entry fee seems a bit steep now in the light of that approach. On a broader note - I have often wondered where the Hell do Thais get these idiot ideas from?? Is there some centralised pool of utter morons that the Politicians and Bureaucrats go to for their next 'brilliant idea' to give to the Media?
