News Forum - Suvarnabhumi to compensate for runway impact on properties
As an aside, for those who sometimes criticize the Thai's. in the UK, discissions on an additional runway in the South East of England started 40 years ago. Heathrow got their go ahead from a dysfunctional government to apply for planning permission for that runway more than 15 years ago and permission has still not be granted, as silly objections go through the pathetically slow UK legal system. Meanwhile Thailand build a brand new airport, build its second runway and updated its old DMK. And don't forget the extensive new Expressway system that supports the airport. The UK is a basket case, as are most Western counties . Give me Thailand every time.
