"they had visited Jaidee’s Bar later in the evening, a venue known for offering free local whiskey shots and openly selling illicit drugs like opium," Begs the question if it was KNOWN for 'openly selling illicit drugs like opium' why was it allowed to trade? Are the Laos cops like the Royal Thai Police supplementing their incomes by turning a blind eye or is it sheer laziness and incompetence? Questions need to be asked of those responsible for policing methinks! -
