This incident, while devastating, serves as a critical reminder for homeowners to review and update their fire safety precautions regularly.

Every time I read such BS here, I laugh out loud. They dont give a rat's rear here about 'electrical safety' or 'safety precautions'. One of the more serious downsides to the Mai Pen Rai attitude of Thais. Electrical fires are always a worry here, and one of the main reasons why we never stay in cheap hotels (anymore).
