Thailand either needs to fight back strongly against the gradual take over of not just hotels but many other businesses by China (not going to happen) or accept that eventually China will completely control the Thai economy. 

Of course International companies like Marriott, Sheraton, Accor, Carrefour, Intercontinental, Holiday Inn, etc etc are also making billions in profits in Thailand and that money is all going abroad.
