"The collision occurred on a road near Motorway No.7, just as the sedan approached a bridge spanning the motorway. The impact was so severe that it caused the motorcycle to be dragged more than 50 metres along the road."

If it took 50 metres for her to stop, she must have been doing at least 70 km/h. That's very fast in a Thai urban environment.

Assuming the driver didn't start to break before the collision and not taking into account the dragging of a motocrycle etc.

Indeed, that's why I said "at least". Lots of information is missing at this point, but it does seem to be an accident caused by reckless driving.
