Thief steals 4 trees valued at 18,500 baht from Sa Kaeo home

Police have arrested a man who allegedly stole 4 trees in the eastern Thai province of Sa Kaeo. Satit Mitrak, the superintendent of the Watthana Nakhon Police Station, says local police, with the help of an investigative team, collected evidence from the crime scene. From their investigation, police determined a 34 year old identified as Ekaphon was in possession of the 4 expensive trees. Satit says the trees were easy to steal because there was no fence around them. Are Thaiger members really interested in petty theft reports?  

Those potted plants (NOT trees) are barely worth 5k baht total!  The reported "Monstera tycon price 5,000 baht" is in fact a variegated Monstera Deliciosa, otherwise know as Monstera Thai Constellation.  In mature form they are quite sought after.

My wife propagates house plants like these as a hobby, for sale online among our community.

Catching criminals is good, i was merely wondering how they were worth so much.

He was potting this crime for a long time. But, now he's promising to turn over a new leaf.
