More Hubs - More 'soft power' - These guys are unbelievable. Thailand is falling backwards and tourism is slowly dying - they have taken no steps to rebuild and restructure - you are in big trouble little Thailand. They will remain on 'the list' due to history, but with a high Baht and decrepit tourism infrastructure, sinking boats, taxi mafia, streets like in a slum, expensive hotels, corruption more common day after day, murders and other disasters every day/week, they will mainly be attracting those interested in Pattaya and Kata Beach. There will be lots of cheap Charlies from India and neighbours out for a good time, but you are losing the middle ground and families.  Rebuild you idiots - clean things up - the 'average' tourists are looking elsewhere - Japan is cheaper than it has ever been - others have done something to attract tourists and Thailand has done nothing - talk talk talk.

‘Soft power’, seems to be the latest buzz term. I’ve heard it countless times under the current administration. It’s too bad they don’t know how to use it in its correct context.
