Nothing will change unless some serious punishments are executed. Poor police officer, now his life and his  future and the future of his family remains as a big question mark.

I hope this *sshole gets locked up for a very long time and has to pay substantial damages to the injured police officer before being deported! There is no excuse for drink driving.

This bloke will be in a World of pain when he sobers up (or comes down) he'll need access to a large amount of money to get outta this one .

No sympathy whatsoever.
