Police deny claims that live ammunition was shot at protesters on Sunday night outside Bangkok’s Din Daeng police station. The government is seeking to press charges against red-shirt leader Nattawut Saikuar over protests in Bangkok on Sunday. Phuket is instituting new measures as ordered by the provincial communicable disease committee. 239 coronavirus-related deaths, a new record high, and 20,128 new Covid-19 cases were reported today by the CCSA. Yesterday, the CCSA approved a proposal to set the minimum stay at 7 days, down from the previous 14.

Hello,

is it still true that if I spend 14 days in Phuket, can I then travel to Bangkok and Chon Buri?

thank you

I believe you can (currently) as long as you pass your day 13 PCR test. I’m not sure how easy it would be to travel to Bangkok and Chon Buri, (availability of flights, busses or taxis) but in theory as you will be fully vaccinated and have had a PCR test within 72 hours and completed your 14 day sandbox quarantine, then I can see no reason why not. This situation is of course open to change at any time…

Yes, there are so many members with questions like yours and so little meaningful info coming from the 'authorities'. Although I'm no expert in these matters, there will be other members, I'm sure, who will be glad to help when they spot this post. And let's give my colleague, @Faz, a mention for he's quite clued-up with these travel issues.

And your debut post, too . . . thanks for that!

Hello, Franny and welcome to Thaiger Talk
