Ridiculous. 200 baht indeed. I’d say someone lost money and dobbed them in.

This goes on all over Thailand I would ‘wager’. Back in August I stumbled across ‘a gambling ring’ in Nakhon Sawan. 20 guys, similar age to those in the article, playing pétanque every weekday from 10 to 3, games every 15 minutes. 100 baht buy in, 1500 baht pot per game winner takes all. The house keeps 100 baht per game for maintenance. 

All in all, a very enjoyable afternoon.
