However Thailand's min wage is 350 baht a day And my stepson makes closed to 800 baht and hour plus about another 10k baht/week in tips I've also said many times I think my home country is the most corrupt country in the world But my stepson went to one of the best Universities in Thailand and the teacher were scamming the students and not allowing the book to be bought and selling the students pages at exorbitant prices I always say that Thailand isn't the poor country people perceived it to be 20 years ago But I just don't think you can compare it to Western countries with it's relatively low education rankings and low paying jobs and a minimum wage less than an hours wage in most Western countries -
