"He points out that his efforts to have the structures removed have been further delayed as the resort owning the jetties has been granted an additional 150 days following the expiration of an initial 180-day deadline."

I wonder how much money changed hands to ensure that extension was granted to take them close to the end of high season? A follow up story after the 150 day extension would be good and maybe some details about where all the concrete will be dumped IF they are ever taken down.
